Taizé Prayer is a meditative, communal prayer that begins with the singing of simple and repetitive songs, without many words. The worship is quiet and reflective to create a prayerful environment that helps people draw closer to God and the place of the Cross.

Taizé Prayer is a meditative, communal prayer that begins with the singing of simple and repetitive songs, without many words. The worship is quiet and reflective to create a prayerful environment that helps people draw closer to God and the place of the Cross. The focus of Taizé is on Christ and the Cross, reconciliation, and prayers for the suffering throughout the world.
