The Franciscan Renewal Center – or “Casa de Paz y Bien” – has existed since 1951 as a place for spiritual retreats, wellness, worship, healing and more. Their mission is to be an oasis for spiritual growth, healing and transformation, and service to others. They offer a place to grow in relationship with the Creator and creation, where people can unpack emotional baggage and heal personal relationships, or where those filled with joyous energy can join forces to help the poor and neglected around us.

The Casa presents retreats, workshops, and classes that inspire Catholics and non-Catholics alike to be focused on God as the center of all creation. The message of St. Francis is rooted in the Scriptures to help us all take better care of body, mind, spirit, one another, and this world. Many programs intentionally provoke more questions than give easy answers. In addition to spiritual direction, the Casa offers various opportunities for spiritual formation, personal healing, contemplation, and prayer.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION AT THE FRANCISCAN RENEWAL CENTER

Explore a relationship with God. What is happening in your life that separates you from living with deeper meaning? How is God present or absent in your life? How do you know God’s direction for your life? Spiritual direction encourages us to explore our relationship with God. Many of us find it a challenge to notice God’s action in the midst of our busy lives, although we really yearn – deep within our being – for an awareness of God’s presence with us.
