The Crosier School of Holy Listening
Karina is the director of Escuela de Santa Escucha Cruzada (The Crosier School of Holy Listening). Founded in 2016, ESEC is a two-year training program designed to prepare lay spiritual directors to serve the Latino Catholic community in the Phoenix area.
Karina also serves as bilingual spiritual director at Crosier Village and other East Valley locations, and remotely via phone or videoconference. She graduated from the Crosiers’ ESEC program and is a member of Spiritual Directors International.
Karina has attended various inner-healing classes and seminars including Francis McNutt-Christian Healing Ministries, Neal Lozano-Unbound, Elijah House-Inner Healing and Prayer Ministries, Ed Smith–Transformational Prayer, and others. She has been part of prayer teams at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, City of the Lord, and the Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit. She has served as a team member at various English and Spanish Grief-to-Grace retreats, which focus on trauma healing.
Prior to dedicating her life to serving God and the community, Karina was in the banking industry, leading various teams as a senior IT project manager. She has an MBA from ASU and an accounting degree.
