Alicia Palazuelos

Spiritual Companion

Alicia is from Mexico City and has 6 children and 5 grandchildren.

She lived in Santiago de Chile for 26 years where she got her Spiritual Companion certificate from Centro de Espiritualidad Santa Maria (Arg.) affiliated with Teresianum in Rome. Centro de Espritualidad Santa Maria is a community of lay people who live their everyday lives in a contemplative way.

She has taught various classes, led workshops, and 7-day silent retreats with Centro de Espiritualidad Santa Maria´s affiliates in Santiago de Chile, Monterrey, Mexico, and Miami, FL. She has assisted in 7-day Contemplative Prayer retreats for priests, in different cities throughout Northeast India. 

Through a 10-year collaboration between Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA, and Centro de Espiritualidad Santa Maria, Alicia has done workshops on Foundations for Contemplative Living, Faith, Life and Prayer, and presently giving Family Spirituality workshops. She is a Focusing trainer and therapist for the International Focusing Institute in NY and the Focusing Institute in Mexico.

Alicia is currently a Spiritual Companion with Centro de Espiritualidad Santa Maria, Loyola Marymount University, and St. Bridget´s Spirituality Center in Mesa, AZ.
 

She accompanies in both English and Spanish.
